Problem with SQL Syntax for ILSP

Oct 22, 2011 at 7:18 AM

First of all, thank you so much for creating this incredible product. It is exactly what I have been looking for.

That said, I'm running to a problem with something that should be fairly basic. For some reason, when I execute my workflow

I keep getting syntax errors having to do with the placement of my ' (apostrophes) around variables.

Here is what I am using (following the documentation exactly):

INSERT INTO Equity ([Transaction Date], [Employee Name]) VALUES ([%Current Items:Transaction Date%],’[%Current Items:Employee Name%]’)

I even copied and pasted from the documentation before modifying to make sure I hadn't screwed up the spacing. If I leave the apostrophes in I get an error about syntax " ' "

If I leave them out I get an error about not recognizing the column field for whatever the "Employee Name" list value is.

Please help!

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Eric,

try to put [%Current Items:Transaction Date%] in quotes '[%Current Items:Transaction Date%]'
