First thanks for the great workflow activities! Sadly I receive an error while trying to use the "call a webservice" action.
I recieve the following error message "Error in HTTP-Request: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error." This is normally caused by an incorrect SOAP request envelope. I've tried a few variations and they all give the same message.
Below the information that I used for "GetUserInfo" (usergroup.asmx).
input (removed company/personal info):
- web service url (tested and working):
- SOAP version: 1.2
- Action: Empty (SOAP 1.2)
- SOAP Request Envelope:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
user name: domain\username
Appid: empty (since i used the other option)
The SharePoint logs and IIS logs did not provide any information about the error. I also tried some other web services / SOAP version but they all gave the same error. I hope that anyone knows what causes this behavior or what I'm doing wrong :)
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I found out that not all web services are returning an error, for example the one mentioned in the manual (add list item) is working.
